Baking Day!

We decided to some baking today. We made some delicious blueberry muffins, Amish bread and some dinner rolls for Ryans's work Christmas party tomorrow. Everything was going great until I burned my arm. It hurts. We have some yummy bread to give to neighbors now, so, that's good.
It snowed two days ago, and while it's pretty outside, it's cold. I need some warmth.
On Saturday we took the boys out of our bedroom. We figured they are already three months old so it was time for them to move out. They slept all through the night, and they have for a week now, so, I think it might be official "they sleep through the night".

Ten days later...

I can't believe it has been ten days since I last posted something here! We have been very busy taking care of fussy babies though, so I have a great excuse!;)
I need to try and do a little recap of these ten days.
On the eleventh of December, my mother arrived. Ryan and I went to pick her up at the airport and did a little shopping in Indy for a few hours before her arrival, it was nice to be without the kids fora little while and just hang out together.
I really don't remember much after that! So much for a recap!! Some of the things we have been doing that I do remember, even though I don't remember when exactly they happened (which might have to do with the actual event) were trying to put babies to sleep, feeding them 8 to 10 ounces every feeding, and trying to put them to sleep again! I did get a chance to take some pictures so, here are some pictures to try and make up for these ten days!

Now, today at church, during sacrament meeting, Emma was eating fruit snacks and there was this other baby, close to Emma's age, and I told Emma to go and share a little gummy with her and she got excited and walked over and handed her the gummy, you should have seen the smile and excitement on Emma's face! It made me happy to see her sharing and enjoying it! I wish I had a picture to show you!

December 8

I got a chance to go to the Relief Society enrichment night tonight and had lots of fun! It had a been a while since I have had a chance to socialize and be a girl. It was even weird at first to be in a room full of girls and I didn't even know what to say or how to start a conversation with anyone! It really was nice to be a girl for a little while. A big thanks and hug to my brave husband that stayed with the boys, awake! and also thanks to my mother in law for coming to get Emma so she could go play with Avery. I had a good time!

December 7

There was snow on the ground this morning. I knew it would be a dreary day. I don't like snow because it means cold and hibernating. The boys were sick today, I did jinx myself after all. They vomited and had a little diarrhea, but mostly they were fussy all day. It was a long day. I didn't do much.

I worked on my December album. They say creative people are messy, I'm just messy.

December 6

Not much to show for today. We didn't get to go to church since we've been sick around here and didn't want to pass on the bug. Emma is much better and it seems like the boys are safe but I better not jinx myself.
Aunt Sarah came over today with Avery and Caleb. Emma is still learning how to interact with other kids and share and being nice (not that good at either one yet!) Avery and Emma seemed to enjoy one another.
Grandpa came over later and took a turn at holding all three of the boys.

This is Benjamin enjoying some time in the bumboo chair. Alex doesn't fit quite as well as Ben, his legs get a little stuck but likes it too.

December 5

This morning I woke up tired but energized! I wanted to get out and do something. It's been a while since I've felt like that, so we decided to go to IHOP for breakfast and then visit Grandma Jackson so she could meet the boys. It took us forever to get out of the house, but it was worth it! It was funny to see people's faces when they see us walk in with three little kids; especially the twins, but anyway, we were enjoying breakfast when suddenly Emma starts puking! She had no idea what was happening (poor thing!), she had been chewing a sausage link when "stuff" started coming out of her mouth nonstop. She kept looking at us as Ryan tried to clean it up, when it finally stopped she took the sausage back to her mouth as if nothing had happened! And kept eating! It was funny, sad and cute. She seemed to be fine while we visited with Grandma Jackson and even when we came home, she took a nap and it seemed like she was done with the bug. Later, Ryan and Emma went to the store and on the way back she puked all over Ryan's car...gross! (I'm just glad it wasn't my van! jk), but right now she seems to be just fine. Hopefully she's now done and hopefully the boys won't get it.
Here are a couple of images of today.

December update

December has started and I'm already behind with my little december daily posting! Crazy! My twins are already two and a half months old! Emma is twenty and a half months old! All three of our babies are growing and getting more beautiful than ever ;)

On the first of December we went to pick up our Christmas tree, we were going to take Emma but it was way too cold! We picked a small one this time, it's cute and stout. We brought it home and at first Emma didn't understand and looked a little puzzled, later she loved it and started playing with the ornaments (we only have five ornaments, we're doing without the glass ones this year), especially the star, she thought it was a horn and started playing it! It was fun to see her enjoy decorating the tree.

On the second of December we celebrated Dutsika's birthday with a lovely cheesecake made by me.

Also, it was my sister's last day with us, we miss her very much.
We got this picture of my sister with all her nieces and nephews.

On the third of December, I was out of commission! Sick, sick, sick! Ryan got this bug and was sick tuesday night and my sister got sick Wednesday night and I got sick on Thursday, early morning, at around one in the morning. My mother in law took care of my three kids all day yesterday, thank you so much! I'm all better now, and ready to enjoy this wonderful month!
Today, the fourth day, was a good day. The boys behaved really well and took their naps (they had been kind of fussy lately and wouldn't nap). Emma slept about three and a half hours. I didn't get much done but my children were happy today. They all sleep now and Ryan reminded me that I hadn't posted anything and it was already December 4. So, I decorated my blog a bit and here I am, catching up!
