I had refused to write this post. I'm not ready to give up the warmth and fun of summer days. I was outside this early morning {nine am is pretty early for me} taking the trash out and I felt this cool wind on my skin and as nice as it felt, I wasn't a bit excited. But I did feel the warmth in my heart as I saw my boys waiting for me in their room as I opened the door and they immediately jumped up and smiled!
We had so much fun this summer. My family spent almost two months with us and Emma just loved having the primas and pinky and lehi here, and of course, dutsikita spent many nights with them too.
I'm so grateful that my family is able to come see me and also that my sister let her four kids come and spend such long time with me. I don't know that I will be able to do the same when my kids grow up a little. She is anxiously awaiting her turn to have my kids with her for a summer.
I'm also thankful for my mom, for all that she does for me, for her love especially. We had such a good time together! We crafted, we baked, we cleaned! Very, very fun!
Speaking of summer fun, these are some of the fun things we did that I have not posted about.
We crafted.
We must have made a million headbands! These were the few that were photographed. Some were sold and some were worn by the girls.
We also made the boys their first quilt. I know. And I still have to finish them, but my goal is to have them ready for their birthday.
The Primas had over easy eggs for the first time. My sister hates cooking them. The girls loved them thanks to Emma and Kita. It is also my favorite way of eating eggs!
We had a yard sale! It was so fun and we made some money while getting rid of clutter! The girls attracted many people and even yelled on the street that we were having a yard sale! It worked!
How could you not stop by and buy their crap!?
Emma showed up at our bed at five am one morning. She slept in the Dora toddler bed and loved the new found freedom! Not me. As cute as it was to have her wake me up with a smile and sleep with me the rest of the morning, I wasn't ready. We'll give it a try again soon.
Amaury had an early birthday party so that we could all be together!
This is my brother Samir and his son. I'm so proud of my brother, he's such a good dad.
I tried so hard to get a pictures of these four so I could send a little gift to my sister. I seriously not have one image that I'm proud of, sadly.
Smiles courtesy of these two.
I did get a few of each kid though. So, maybe a little collage will do.
Ramiro, 15.
Lehi, 14.
Itzel and Janely, 8.
So, I have been doing some coupon shopping lately, after my friend Cecilia taught me how it works. I'm a believer now. I love getting good deals! Who doesn't, right?! Well, Janely and I did lots of little coupon trips and she was so excited every time we got very cheap or even free stuff!! She's going to be rich one day! She loves to work and especially save money!
We found lots of cute outfits for super cheap too!
I had another birthday. This was my present.
A 24in monitor that came completely broken. Luckily we called them and they sent another one immediately and got it two days later, along with my monitor calibrator! I had a good birthday.
And on the very last night the primas were here, we got some more pictures taken.
We had so much fun! Have I already said that? Well, we did!
Now it's time to enjoy the present. And it will be hopefully more fun as soon as this terrible cold I got passes.

Ah Rigel, you have a beautiful, beautiful family. Isn't it nice when family comes to visit?
I, on the other hand, cannot wait for fall to truly be here. Those cool breezes feel soo good after a hot summer!
