Welcome

To our family blog! We love having a spot to record the Grand and not so Grand events in our lives! Thanks for keeping track of us and for tagging along! And don't forget to check out my photography blog!

10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT EMMA

Some things I want to forever remember about Emma right now:

1. I want to forever hear her laughing out loud! She has the most contagious and honest laughter! Sometimes I fake laughing just to hear her laugh.

2. I want to forever remember her joyfulness. She wears her happiness on her face! She's such an emotional little girl! She's always happy and smiley. I just love her!

3. I want to forever remember how good a little mommy she is to her brothers. I was feeding Ben last week and I had to get up and do something, when I came back she had the plate and spoon in her hands and was feeding him. {a little messy and somewhat irritating at the moment, but cute!} She will also say "mom, shhhh! baby sleeping"

4. I want to forever remember her saying "mom, picture! picture!" I hope she will always want me to "shoot" her!

5. I want to forever remember the sweetness and thankfulness in her voice when I "surprise" her with a toy, or candy, or cereal, or hot dog, or whatever it is, and she says "thank you mommy" {oh, I can hear it right now}

6. I want to forever remember our "kita dances". Ever since we went to my niece's ballet recital Emma wants to dance like kita. We dance together in the kitchen and laugh and laugh! Then my back hurts and I remember I'm over 30, so we stop.

7. I want to forever remember her sassiness!

8. I want to forever remember bedtime singing and jamming to "twinkle twinkle" and "A beam" Also, when we sing "Popcorn" we do a long treeeeeeeeee note! She loves it!

9. I want to forever remember her delicious kisses and hugs! She will kiss and hug everybody! {unless you are scary}

10. I want to forever remember that whatever I say and do, she learns. This one is more a reminder to myself to always strive to be a good example to my children. I have had to ban the word "tupid" from my vocabulary. She's forgotten it too, I think.
