Welcome

CATCHING UP {EDITED}

Stories will come later. It's two a.m.
It's finally "later". And...can I remember what's happened in the almost three weeks since my last post! So much! That's for sure!
Three weeks ago we were celebrating Ryan's birthday. Taking care of fussy babies. Feeding the fussiest baby in the middle of the night. Yes, that's you Mr. Ben. Only for a couple of nights though. We were preparing for my family's arrival.
The morning of the fourth I was sitting in Sacrament Meeting actually enjoying the testimonies being born {thanks to my Mother and Father in law}. And as I was sitting there, I looked over at a family that was sitting on the other side of the room. I had a thought. I told Ryan. He encouraged me to talk to them. I didn't want them to think I was weird-er.
I tried. I was almost giving up thinking I shouldn't. Ryan asked if I had done it. He encouraged me to do it. I went after them. I found them just as they were leaving. I stopped them and said. I had a thought. While sitting in Sacrament Meeting I saw you guys and thought how beautiful you all were, {I meant that Spiritually, but they are also good looking people} and I had an idea. I didn't want to blame the Spirit because it could just have been me and my craziness. I asked the question then, Can I take your picture? Mom then said, "it was not my idea! I didn't say anything!" They agreed.
It had to be that day. Schedule conflicts. We decided to do it right before we had to go get my family.
We took Emma with us and she slept the whole time I took pictures. Church really gets her tired.

We got in the car. Emma woke up. Cranky. I had to sit on the back with her. We took pictures of her dolly. She was happy.

Dad drove like a mad man. He always drives like a mad man. I keep him in line.

We made it to the airport. The boys' flight had arrived. My mom and the girls were on a different flight. They decided to come after we had bought the boys' tickets.
Emma spotted the "pocorn!"

She called nana and told her to hurry.

The boys' flight had arrived. We looked for them. They found us.

They looked different. More grown up. More like teenagers. Teenagers in all the extension of the word. We spent some time getting reacquainted. Emma didn't recognize them. A little bit later they made her laugh.
We waited some more. I kept my eye on my lens. This I spotted. He proposed. She said yes. Everybody clapped. I still need to email them these.

After we got home, my father in law took the kids to see the fireworks. They got there just in time for the cool show!
For a few days Emma played much. Napped little.
Then she surrendered. Napped.

And napped.

The boys ate pizza. Ben devoured it.

Last week my brother and sister in law had us over for Carne Asada. He made a delicious salsa. Spicy good!. My mom made tortillas. Everything was delicious. The girls wanted to play in the pool.
Emma enjoyed the pool.

The twins enjoyed the pool.

Emma enjoyed it some more.

Itzel wanted to pose for my camera.

Alex and Ben don't really enjoy gates.

We watched the World Cup. It was a good match.

A week before my family arrived I went to the fabric store. I saw Kristina there. I always see Kristina there. All coincidental. We looked at fabric together. We like the red tag sale. Kristina makes clothes for her little baby. She found some cute fabric. It had been a while since I had sewn clothing. I found the purple fabric and thought, a skirt for my nieces would be fun in pictures. I bought three yards. I went back later and bought the green one.
My mom and I have been sewing. The skirts turned into dresses for the girls. We sewed for two days. We finally finished them. I took pictures, of course.

This is what I remember. Right now anyways. I am always too tired to remember to even have lived some things. We have been having lots of fun. Lots of noise. Lots of everything.
Yesterday, we sewed some more. A little dress for Emma.
