Welcome

To our family blog! We love having a spot to record the Grand and not so Grand events in our lives! Thanks for keeping track of us and for tagging along! And don't forget to check out my photography blog!

WE'RE BACK!

Well, we have been back for five days now, but it seems like I'm just barely recovering and getting all back to normalcy {not that it has ever been normal around here since the arrival of our sweet monsters}.

Mexico was great! I will say though, we did have a couple of rough weeks when the kids were adjusting and got sick, but why dwell on it, right?
We truly did have a blast and I'm so thankful I got to go back to see my family and friends.

And even when I know it's kind of late for a thanksgiving post I will do just that {it is my blog after all, right?}

I'm grateful for my sweet family of five; thankful for each one of my punks and especially for my sweet husband, you are loved baby.

Emma, you are the sweetest little girl. I love talking to you and making things for you {while in Mexico, a friend told Emma that she was wearing the cutest little flower on her hair, she said "my mommy made it for me, my mommy makes things for me all the time" So, I had to get home and craft her a little Christmas present, sucker!}

Benjamin, oh my! you are my little explorer! Always getting into trouble! So brave and resilient! Love your mischievous smile! Alex, you are one cry baby! Oh how I love your tenderness! I love when you start jumping and your bunny teeth showing when you laugh!

I'm grateful for my mother; for everything that she's ever done for me, for helping me take care of my punks and especially for holding Alex during the almost seven weeks we were there! For teaching Emma Spanish! She's all caught up to her age and skill level! {she has been in Spanish mode since we arrived, I just love it!}

I'm grateful for my sister Janely and my brother in law, Ramiro; for being the best big sister I could have ever had, thanks for putting up with me and my kids in your tiny but cozy home. Thanks for lining up so many shoots for me, it was so fun! Thanks to my nieces and nephews for "checking on" my punks for countless hours on these seven weeks.

I'm grateful for my dad, for being so excited and in love with my kids and for bringing them gifts and that huge fish and shrimp for me!

I'm grateful for my friend Paty, for cooking the aforementioned huge fish! And making "tacos de costillita" and for being a great friend.

I'm so thankful for all my family, here and there, for their great examples of faith and love. My heart swells when I think about the sweet relationships we have and that they will last forever.
