Welcome

To our family blog! We love having a spot to record the Grand and not so Grand events in our lives! Thanks for keeping track of us and for tagging along! And don't forget to check out my photography blog!

THE USUAL

Allergies. Allergies. Please go away. Never had allergies before. I dislike fuzzy stuff blowing on my face and in through my nose. I decide Spring is not my favorite season. I hope summer is my true favorite season.
Time to wake up. Kids talking, screaming really.
Good morning Thursday. We head downstairs, as usual. I change diapers, as usual. Feed kids, as usual. They play, as usual. I blog, as usual. I try to clean, as usual. Nap time, as usual. Take kid A or B? Who looks more tired? Who will go to sleep faster? Ben is the usual answer. I take him. Baby A cries. I feed Ben. He naps. Baby A is tired. Baby A eats. He doesn't sleep. I rock and get him to sleep. Emma wakes up at 11:00am as usual. Good morning Thursday again. And so it goes. Diaper change. Dress. Hair. Eggs. Cartoons.
Ryan surprises me with a KFC chicken wrap. My favorite from KFC. He brings me a gift. A chaise. He says he "picked it up on the side of the road". {I have looked for a chair for a long time. I told many people I had been looking for a chair}. Laurie, from the office, says she gave one away just the day before. She gets it back. She "leaves it on the side of the road". Ryan brings it home. It's perfect! Thanks Laurie!.
The boys wake up. Ryan goes back to work. Emma cries. The boys are hungry.
I feed. I change. I play.

The kids are entertained. I work on a little craft.

We have fun. We get tired. The nap routine starts again, as usual. This time, Emma goes first. Ben follows. Alex cries. I try three times. He cries. Ryan comes home and tries. He doesn't sleep. Ryan cleans the refrigerator. Unwanted items go to the trash. Wasting is not fun. I make spinach artichoke dip for dinner. That's all I plan to make. Ryan wants a real meal. I'm deaf.
We remember Dutsikita's dance recital. Emma and I go. Emma is Kita's number one fan. They love each other. Emma follows and admires her. She wants to dance like Kita. We often play "Dance like Kita" in our kitchen.

We pick up some bread for the dip and maybe a chocolate cake. We don't need anything else.

Time for the night routine, as usual. More feeding and changing. Nobody fusses. Everything goes smooth, as usual. They all go to sleep. I craft some more. I take allergy medicine. I sleep. I don't dream. I sleep.
